Boating and Marinas
Boating by kayak, canoe, sailboat, pontoon boat, fishing boat, and more is one of the most popular ways to explore and enjoy the Muskingum Watershed. MWCD offers free public boat launch ramps at each of its lakes. Find horsepower limits by lake as well as marina docking, service, and storage rates.
Hiking & Biking Trails
Pick your favorite path or try a new trail… with 41,000 acres of land to explore, options abound!
Equestrian Trails
Get away with your favorite steed at the Pleasant Hill Lake equestrian camp, complete with a dedicated trail system developed in partnership with the Ohio Horseman’s Council.
Water Trails
Explore the rivers and reservoirs of the Muskingum Watershed through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ dedicated water trail program, which keeps waterways clear for kayaks, boats, and canoes.
Fishing
Fishing is permitted on all MWCD lakes. Download fishing maps, register for upcoming tournaments, review ODNR fishing regulations, and find out where your favorite fish are swimming.
Hunting
Locate and download maps of the designated hunting areas throughout MWCD’s 57,000 acres of land and water, being sure to comply with any signage showing restricted use areas in the field.
Boat Clubs & Docking Associations
Keep your boat on one of MWCD’s many lakes through one of the area’s private clubs or docking associations. No-fee docking decals are also available for certain watercraft.
