Wednesday, June 26
9-10am Breakfast with the Birds – Watch the birds outside the windows and learn about Ohio’s birds, while enjoying free coffee and breakfast snacks at the Nature Center! While supplies last.
10am Nature Storytime – Meet at the patio behind the Activity Center for a nature story and activity.
11am-1pm Wildlife Wednesday – Visit the Nature Center to see the wild animals that live at Tappan Lake. Learn about Ohio’s amazing creatures!
Thursday, June 27
4-5pm Mandala Craft for Adults – Create a decorative suncatcher for your camper or home at the Nature Center!
6-8pm Teen Club: Fishing – Meet at the boat ramp in Camp Area 1 to go fishing. Bring your own equipment or borrow ours. Live bait will be provided. All experience levels are welcome. Bring a friend!
Friday, June 28
3-4pm Magnify Nature – Take a look at everyday nature under a magnifying glass and see the amazing physical traits! Meet at the Nature Center.
5-7pm Nature Center Open – Explore the Nature Center and see what animals are staying with us! Plus discover Ohio’s American mink and learn about its life history.
6-8pm Traveling Golf Cart – Meet our new program staff on the golf cart as they travel through the camp areas stopping at campsites with 2024 event information!
Saturday, June 29
11am-1pm Nature Center Open & All About Butterflies – Visit the Nature Center to learn about Ohio’s pollinators and make a fun craft!
2-3pm Stream Stomp – Explore the stream across from the Activity Center and discover what lives there! Meet near the bridge and be prepared by wearing shoes that attach to your feet and can get wet!
3-4pm Sand Art Craft – Make your own sand art masterpiece on the patio behind the Activity Center. For ages 8 and up.
4-5pm Bugman – Meet at the Nature Center for a live bug show with Bugman! Parents must accompany children.
5-6pm Kids BINGO – Try your luck at BINGO at the Activity Center. Bring a full-size candy bar.
6-7pm Adult BINGO – Meet in the Activity Center and try your luck at a fun evening of BINGO. Bring a $2 gift.
8-10pm Movie & Popcorn – Bring your own camp chair to the Activity Center to watch “Sing” and enjoy free popcorn! Pop and chips are available to purchase for $1each.
