Seneca Summer Solstice Weekend
June 21 - June 22
Friday, June 21
9:30-11am Coffee & Donuts (Park Side) – Enjoy free coffee and donuts at Park Side Shelter #2.
12-1pm Sandcastle Building at the Beach (Park Side) – Meet at the beach to make art in the sand!
6-8pm Traveling Program Wagon (Marina Point) – Look for our traveling program staff and wagon full fun as they travel through the camp areas stopping at campsites with event information!
9-11pm Moonlight Kayak Tour – Take a guided tour of Seneca Lake by the light of the full moon! Bring your own equipment or borrow ours. Registration required at www.MWCD.org/tickets.
Saturday, June 22
9-10am Guided Nature Hike (Park Side) – Meet at the Log Cabin Nature Center to take a stroll along the Lakeside Trail to search for signs of summer!
10-11am Nature Center Open & Tree Craft for Kids (Park Side) – Learn about trees of Ohio. Meet at the Log Cabin Nature Center then make a tree craft.
12-1pm Frisbee Fun (Park Side) – Head to the beach area to play frisbee games and have fun with new friends!
2-3pm Summer Solstice Sun Craft at the Beach (Park Side) – Celebrate the first day of summer by making a sun craft at the beach patio!
4-5pm Chalk Art (Marina Point) – Let your creativity shine with chalk art near the basketball court! Prizes for best designs.
6-9pm LIVE Music: Tequila Mary (Marina Point) – Bring your camp chair to Marina Point Shelter #2 to enjoy the sounds of this fun and quirky band!
