7-8:30pm Ladies’ Night Craft and Desserts – Grab a friend for a fun girl’s night at the lake! All materials and instructions provided, plus snacks! Registration required at www.MWCD.org/tickets
Wednesday, July 3
4-5:30pm Wildlife Wednesday (Park Side) – Visit the Log Cabin Nature Center to see the wild animals that live at Seneca Lake. Learn about Ohio’s amazing creatures!
6-8pm Traveling Nature Program (Park Side) – Watch for our program staff traveling through the camp areas with nature questions and information about weekend programs!
Thursday, July 4 Happy Independence Day!
9-10am Guided Nature Hike (Park Side) – Meet near the beach to take a guided hike along Lake Side Trail!
11am-12pm Nature Center Open (Park Side) – Explore the Log Cabin Nature Center and learn about Ohio’s trees.
1-2pm Water Games at the Beach (Park Side) – Bring your friends to play fun water games at the beach!
4-5pm Rocket Craft for Kids (Marina Point) – Stop by Marina Point Shelter #2 to make a craft.
6-8pm Traveling Craft Wagon (Marina Point) – Look for our traveling program staff and wagon full fun as they travel through the camp areas stopping at campsites with nature items. They will also have information about the upcoming events for the weekend and schedules to hand out.
9pm Glowsticks and Fireflies (Marina Point) – Experience bioluminescence at Marina Point Shelter #2. We will be handing out glowsticks (while supplies last) and attempting to catch and release fireflies!
Friday, July 5
9:30-11am Coffee & Donuts (Park Side) – Enjoy free coffee and donuts at Park Side Shelter #2.
12-1pm Nature Center Open & Rocket Craft for Kids (Park Side) – Learn about mammals of Ohio. Meet at the Log Cabin Nature Center then explore the park to search for evidence of these animals.
2pm Bike Decorating (Park Side) – Meet at the beach parking lot to decorate your bike for the parade!
2:30pm Bike Parade (Park Side) – Join a parade along the Lake Side trail. All children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
4-5pm Animal Charades (Park Side) – Meet at the basketball court to do your best to act out your favorite animals and see who can guess correctly! Prizes for participants. For all ages!
6-7pm Patriotic Craft for Adults (Marina Point) – Make a patriotic wreath at Marina Point Shelter #2.
7-8pm BINGO (Marina Point) – Try your luck at Marina Point Shelter #2! Bring a $2 prize. Ages 13+.
Saturday, July 6
1-2pm Patriotic Craft for Adults (Park Side) – Meet at Park Side Shelter #2 to make a patriotic wreath!
3-4pm T-shirt Tie Dye (Park Side) – Tie dye a Seneca Lake Park T-shirt! T-shirts will be on sale for $10 each. Cash only, sizes are first come-first served. Meet near the Park Side Shelter #2.
5-6pm T-shirt Tie Dye (Marina Point) – Tie dye a Seneca Lake Park T-shirt! T-shirts will be on sale for $10 each. Cash only, sizes are first come-first served. Meet near Marina Point Shelter #2.
7pm LIVE Music: Breezy Rider Band – Bring a chair to the beach for live music before the fireworks!
DUSK Fireworks Over the Lake – Enjoy fireworks over the lake! Can be seen from land and water.
