Tappan Lake Park Program Schedule August 18-20
Friday, August 18
5-8pm – Traveling Nature Program – Watch for the golf cart traveling through the camp with nature information!
Saturday, August 19
9-10am – Marshmallow Shooters – Make a fun craft at the Patio behind the Activity Center!
11am-1pm – First Responder Day – Tappan Lake and the MWCD want to say THANK YOU to First Responders! Meet MWCD Rangers and local first responders. Learn what they do, see the equipment, take pictures, and ask questions at the beach parking lot. Plus, we are offering FREE Gate Admission for all First Responders with valid ID, all day.
2-3pm – Nature Center Open & Game Time – Explore the Nature Center and challenge a friend to a board game or on the Wii!
5-6pm – Kids BINGO – Meet at the Activity Center and try your luck at BINGO. Bring a candy bar.
6-7pm – Adult BINGO – Meet at the Activity Center and try your luck at BINGO. Bring a $2 gift.
8-9pm – Camper Get-Together & Gaga Ball – Meet near the playground at the Area 1 shower house with your camp chair to enjoy a campfire and a game of cornhole or KanJam. A snack will be provided or BYO!
Sunday, August 20
11am-12pm – Messy Play – Meet at the patio behind the Activity Center and dress for a mess!
1pm – Tappan Recycling – Have your aluminum cans by lot post by 1pm! All recycling benefits programs.
