5-8pm Traveling Golf Cart – Watch for the traveling program golf cart with program information!
Saturday, May 25
10-11am Bird Scavenger Hunt – Meet at the Nature Center to learn about Ohio birds and then head out on a scavenger hunt to search for them!
12-1pm Flag Craft for Kids – Make a flag craft at the Activity Center. Parents must accompany children.
1-2pm Naturalist On-Duty – Come see & help feed the LIVE animals in the Nature Center. Visit the fish mural, history exhibit, bird observation window & view a short orientation during your visit.
2-3pm Patriotic Craft for Adults – Meet at the Activity Center to make a red, white, and blue star craft. For ages 15 and up only.
3:30-5:30pm Wagon Tour – Take a tour around Pleasant Hill Lake Park to see the osprey nest platforms and the variety of birds that live at the lake. Space is limited, registration is required online at https://mwcd.ticketleap.com. Parents must accompany children.
7-8:30pm Campfire & Songs – Relax by the campfire and meet Johnny Appleseed. Bring a snack to share and enjoy a special campfire treat! Meet at the campfire ring near the Welcome Center deck with your own camp chairs.
Sunday, May 26
1-2pm Naturalist On-Duty – Come see & help feed the LIVE animals in the Nature Center. Visit the fish mural, history exhibit, bird observation window & view a short orientation during your visit. Welcome Center.
2-3pm Discovery Hike – Take a guided nature hike along the Sycamore Trail. Meet at Shelter #2 with sneakers or hiking shoes. Parents must accompany children.
3-4pm BUGMAN – Meet at the Welcome Center for a live bug show with Bugman! Parents must accompany children.
4-5pm Compass Challenge – Meet at the Welcome Center deck to learn how to use a compass and then complete a challenge course!
6-9pm LIVE Music: SB Music – Join us for live musical entertainment at Shelter in Camp Area G. Bring your own chair or blankets to enjoy classic rock music.
6-7pm Tshirt Tie Dye – Make a colorful and unique creation in the near the Shelter in Camp Area G! T-shirts will be available for purchase. Cash only, $10 each. Sizes are first come, first served. *New 2024 t-shirt design*
9-11pm Movie at the Lake – Bring your blanket or camp chairs to the beach to watch a movie on the BIG screen! The movie is rated PG-13 and will start at dusk.
