Whether you’re a seasoned fiber artist or a beginner eager to learn, this event offers a perfect mix of hands-on workshops, inspiring sessions, and plenty of time to unwind and craft at your own pace. Sharpen your skills, learn something new, or simply enjoy some crochet time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the Crochet Getaway is your perfect destination!
- Crochet Workshops: Each participant can choose two specialty workshops, including macrame, needle felting, hand knit blankets, or hook handle customization.
- Creative Sessions: Take part in each guided program with the opportunity to complete your own projects in a supportive, relaxing environment. OR relax with your your current work-in-progress. Sessions include Yarn BINGO, cozy cinema, sip ‘n stitch, and crochet for a cause, plus take a wagon ride through the park!
- Inspiration & Showcases: Bring your favorite project to share during the participant show-and-tell session to highlight your creation and get inspired by others. Optional swap meet will be included.
- Relaxing Retreat Environment: Enjoy the peaceful setting of a beautiful getaway location. Take time to unwind and rejuvenate with nature walks, cozy corners to crochet, and dedicated relaxation spaces to recharge.
- Crochet & Community: Meet fellow crochet and knitting lovers, share tips, stories, and enjoy the camaraderie of a community that shares your passion for yarn and creativity.
- Special Crochet Challenges & Prizes: Participate in fun crochet challenges throughout the weekend and win exciting prizes that will inspire your future projects.
- Overnight Accommodations are available for an additional fee. Luxury log cabins provide a cozy and relaxing place to spend time throughout the weekend. Workshops will take place within walking distance of the cabins. Make new friends or rent a whole cabin for your group! Space is limited, so reserve your room early.
