Father’s Day Weekend
Friday, June 16
4-6pm – Traveling Program Golf Cart – Watch for our program staff traveling through the camp area with a fun nature item and program schedule!
7:30-9pm – Camper Get-together & Yard Games – Meet near the playground at the Area 1 shower house with your camp chair to enjoy a campfire and a game of cornhole or KanJam. A snack will be provided or BYO!
Saturday, June 17
10-11am – Kids Karate Class – Meet at the sports courts to learn the basics of karate with Jon McFarland! For ages 4 and up, all kids under 8 must have an adult partner.
12-1pm – All About Reptiles – Stop by the Nature Center to learn about reptiles and meet our lizard friends.
2-3pm – Sandcastle Building Contest – Meet at the beach to make art in the sand!
4-5pm – Basketball Challenge – Meet at the basketball court to play knockout and other games for prizes! Half of the court will be closed during this event. For ages 8 and up.
5-6pm – Kids BINGO – Try your luck at BINGO at the Activity Center. Bring a full-size candy bar.
6-7pm – Adult BINGO – Try your luck at BINGO at the Activity Center. Bring a $2 gift.
7-9pm – LIVE Music: New Philadelphia Steel Drum Band – Bring your blanket or camp chair to the sports courts area to enjoy the unique sounds of the band!
Sunday, June 18
10:30am-12pm – My Dad Rocks Craft – Celebrate Father’s Day and meet at the Nature Center to paint a rock with the special guy in your life! We will be placing the rocks in the park to create a unique piece of art.
1pm – Tappan Recycling – Have your aluminum cans by lot post by 1pm! All recycling benefits programs.
