Christmas in July at Tappan Lake

Get in the festive spirit by decorating your Campsite and/or Golf Cart!!!
Lot Decorating Judging will take place on Saturday at 2pm.
- First place will be free winter storage or gift certificate towards daily camping.
- Second place will be 1/2 off winter storage or gift certificate towards daily camping.
Friday, July 19 Christmas in July!!
5-7:30pm Traveling Golf Cart – Watch for the golf cart as they travel through the camp areas stopping at campsites with program schedules!
5-7pm Nature Center Open – Explore the Nature Center and learn about upcoming programs! Plus discover Ohio’s black squirrel and learn about its life history.
8-9pm Kids BINGO – Meet at the Activity Center for a fun evening of BINGO. Bring a candy bar.
Saturday, July 20
9-10am Nature Center Open & Christmas Tree Craft for Kids – Explore the Nature Center and make a Christmas tree decoration!
10-11am Teen Club: Shelter Building – Meet at the Activity Center patio to explore and learn survival skills!
11am-12pm Christmas Ornament Craft for Adults – Make a Christmas ornament in the Nature Center.
1-2pm Ice Cream Social – Enjoy ice cream and toppings at the Activity Center! While supplies last.
2pm Wagon Ride Ticket Sales – Tickets will be sold inside the Registration Office. Tickets are $0.50 each and limit of 4 tickets per person in line. Children 3 and under are free but must have a ticket to ride. Tickets are limited and are sold on a ‘’first come-first serve” basis. Limit 20 people per ride.
2-5pm Traveling Santa – Watch for the golf cart with Santa! Have your camera ready for photos.
6-7pm Adult BINGO – Try your luck at BINGO at the Activity Center. Bring a $2 Christmas themed gift!
8pm Golf Cart Parade – Meet at the beach to line up and then head out at 8:30pm!
8-11pm Wagon Rides & DJ Sean Smith – Meet at the beach parking area 15 minutes prior to your ticket time. Must have ticket to ride. Plus, hang out and enjoy DJ music and yard games!
Sunday, July 21
1-4pm Santa Paddle – Cool off with the Santa scavenger paddle around Tappan Lake! All paddlers are encouraged to wear Christmas costumes and decorate their boat to add to the fun! Collect all seven and be entered to win a YETI COOLER! Registration required at www.MWCD.org/tickets.
