Christmas in July Weekend
Friday, July 21
5:30-7:30pm – Traveling Craft for Kids – Watch for the traveling gator passing out event schedules and craft kits!
7:30-8:30pm – Family BINGO Night – Visit the Messerly Recreation Center for an evening of fun and prizes!
Saturday, July 22
10:30am-12:30pm – Christmas Gourd Painting Craft for Adults – Paint your own masterpiece with Linda! $8 per person payable at the event. Reservations required online at https://mwcd.ticketleap.com.
1pm – Coloring Contest – Pickup cardboard and crayons from the Messerly Recreation Center on Friday evening or during the gourd painting craft, then draw your own Christmas scene and display your entry on your campsite. Judging will take place at 1pm. Winners will be notified after judging.
2-4pm Ranger Day – Meet MWCD Rangers at Charles Mill Lake Park beach parking area! Complete an obstacle course, enjoy activities & giveaways, take your photo, and ask questions. Look for the Rangers near the beach parking area.
2pm – Snowball Games – Meet at the Eagle Point Pool Area for fun games involving snowballs!
3:30pm – Golf Cart Parade – Decorate your golf cart and meet at the Messerly Recreation Center or the Eagle Point Shelter area for a fun parade through the camp areas! Drawing for prizes.
6pm – Christmas Dinner & White Elephant Gift Exchange – Enjoy a delicious dinner at the Messerly Recreation Center. Reservations required at https://mwcd.ticketleap.com. Donation $6 per person. Bring a gift valued at $8 for the gift exchange! Plus enjoy a visit by Santa!
9pm – Lot Decoration Judging – Decoration your campsite and enter the contest. Judging will take place at 9pm on Saturday. Winners will be notified after judging.
Sunday, July 23
10:15am – Non-Denominational Church Service at the Messerly Recreation Center.
