Charles Mill Schedule for July 12-22

Friday, July 12                

6-7:30pm        Traveling Program and Craft – Keep a look out for program staff as they travel through the campgrounds passing out event information and a fun kid’s craft.

7:30-8:30pm    KENO – Play Charles Mill Keno, which is like BINGO but with cards, at the Messerly Recreation Center. Please bring a $2 prize in a bag and join in the fun!

Saturday, July 13                    

11am-12:30pm Traveling Craft for Adults – Watch for the traveling gator for your paint by number craft kit. W

1-2:30pm        Magical Science with Regina – Join us near the Eagle Point Shelter area for magical goodies and take-home science projects. The magical science activities are best for ages 5-14 years old.

3-4pm             Kids Crazy BINGO Games – Meet at the Eagle Point Pool Area for fun BINGO games and win some CRAZY prizes. For ages 4-14.

7-8pm             Nate the Great Magic Show and Balloon Art – If you want to be truly entertained, take a seat in the Messerly Recreation Center for a magic show and balloon art. For all ages!

Sunday, July 14                       

10:15am          Non-denominational Church Service  – at Messerly Recreation Center.

Wednesday, July 17

7-8:30pm        Ladies’ Night Yoga & Dessert – All ladies are invited to enjoy a night out for yoga and enjoy fabulous desserts. For ages 14 and up. $10 per person, registration required at www.mwcd.org/tickets

Friday, July 19

8:45-9:15pm    Night Hunt Hike – Meet at the Messerly Recreation Center for a short night hike looking for special  prize bags.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Saturday, July 20                    

10-11am          Coffee and Donuts – Enjoy coffee and donuts at the Messerly Recreation Center!

11am-1pm       Paint Class with Linda Goodman – Create a masterpiece on slate with Linda at the Messerly Recreation Center! All supplies and instruction included. $15 per person, registration required online at www.MWCD.org/tickets

1-2pm             Cardboard Boat Creation – Pick up your supplies at the Messerly Recreation Center and make your boat to compete in the cardboard boat race! Registration required online at www.MWCD.org/tickets. $10 per team, up to 4 people.

1:30-2:30pm    Duckie Race – Meet near the Eagle Point Shelter to race your duck and boat down the water ramp.

3-4pm             Cardboard Boat Race – Race your boat and see who will win prizes for first and second place! Bring your completed boat to the swim beach.

7:30-8:30pm    The Price is Right – Enjoy an evening of fun and laughter at the Messerly Recreation Center. Can you guess the right price on great items?!

9-11pm           Moonlight Kayak – Enjoy a kayak tour of Charles Mill Lake by the light of the full moon! Bring your own or borrow ours. For ages 12 and up. Registration required at www.MWCD.org/tickets
