Charles Mill Crazy Creature Weekend

Friday, August 16
6-7:30pm Traveling Program and Craft – Keep a look out for Program Staff on Charles Mill Carts as they travel through the campsites passing out event information and a fun craft kit.
7:30-8:30pm Family BINGO – Come to the Messerly Recreation Center and join in the fun for all ages!
Saturday, August 17 Crazy Creatures Weekend
11am-12:30pm Bird Bath Craft for Adults – Adults will be building a bird bath using clay pots at the Messerly Recreation Center and all materials will be provided. Limited to 12 participants. Registration required at www.MWCD.org/tickets
1-2pm Traveling Program and Craft – Look for program staff traveling around the park by Gator and learn about crazy Ohio creatures! Plus enjoy a crazy creature craft kit.
3-4pm LIVE Bird Show – Get a close look at Birds of Prey from Ohio Bird Sanctuary at the Messerly Recreation Center. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
3:30-4:30pm Bird ID Scavenger Hunt – Do you think you know birds? Test your knowledge near the Eagle Point Shelter Area. This is a family event, challenge your parents to bird ID!
4:30-5:30pm Hummingbird Traveling Craft for Adults – The program staff will be passing out hummingbird swing crafts to adults.
7:30-9:30pm Karaoke in the Park – Share your vocal talent with the campground at the Eagle Point Shelter.
Sunday, August 18
10:15am Non-denominational Church Service – All are welcome to participate in this church service at Messerly Recreation Center.
