Charles Mill Art in the Park Weekend

Friday, August 23
6-7:30pm Traveling Program and Craft – Keep a look out for Program Staff on a Charles Mill Cart as they travel through the campsites passing out event information and a fun craft kit for kids.
7:30-8:30pm Family BINGO – Come to the Messerly Recreation Center and join in the fun for all ages!
Saturday, August 24 Art in the Park Weekend
9:30am-3:30pm Camper Yard Sales at Fishermen Point – All are invited to shop. Register online to sell, $5 space. Bring your own table, chairs, and canopy. Registration required at www.MWCD.org/tickets
10:30-11:30am Gourd Painting for Adults – Calling all nature lovers! Create art on a gourd birdhouse with Linda Goodman in the Messerly Recreation Center. Registration required at www.MWCD.org/tickets
1-2pm Chalk Art Contest – All kids are invited to create a chalk masterpiece on the Eagle Point or Main Camp basketball courts!
2:30-3:30pm Paint Class for Kids – Dress for paint and make 3 different crafts at the Messerly Recreation Center!
3:30-4:30pm Traveling Craft for Adults – Watch for the traveling program staff handing out a variety of adult craft kits. While supplies last.
Sunday, August 25
10:15am Non-denominational Church Service – All are welcome to participate in this church service at Messerly Recreation Center.
