Atwood Program Schedule August 23-25

Friday, August 23              

5-8pm          Traveling Naturalist – Watch for our program staff traveling through the camp areas to share nature facts!

 

Saturday, August 24         

All Week          Capture the Canvas – Explore the trails, find a canvas, and enter to win a prize! Three winners will be randomly selected by September 12, plus the first 200 entries will receive a custom MWCD walking stick medallion and all participants with three entries from different parks will receive a walking stick! 10am-12pm   Nature Center Open and Craft – Explore the Nature Center and learn about upcoming programs! Plus discover Ohio’s white-tailed deer and learn about its life history.

1-2pm          Nature Discovery for Families – Meet at the Welcome Center parking lot to take a leisurely hike along the Woodland Trail to discover what is happening in nature. Parents must accompany children.

2-3:30pm       Kickball – Meet near the basketball court near the Activity Center to learn this fun game! For all ages.

4-5pm          Pick Your Own Craft for All Ages – Choose from a variety of crafts at the Activity Center Shelter.

6-7pm          BINGO – Try your luck at BINGO at the Activity Center Shelter. Bring a $2 gift!

8-9pm          Campfire Get-Together & Karaoke – Relax by the campfire and meet new campers, while singing the night away! Bring your own camp chair to the small amphitheater.

 

Sunday, August 25

9-10am       Non-denominational Church Service – Meet at the small amphitheater, weather permitting.
