Atwood Pollinator Palooza

10a-3pm It’s All Fun and Games Day Camp – This camp is for ages 8-12 to experience a day filled with endless fun and games, including everything from board games to gaga ball! Learn new games, like birdie golf, and compete for prizes. Registration is required at www.MWCD.org/tickets.
Friday, June 28
4-7pm Traveling Golf Cart – Watch for our staff traveling through the camp areas with program information!
8-9pm BINGO – Bring a small $2 prize to the Activity Center Shelter and try your luck!
Saturday, June 29
10-11am Yoga at the Beach – Join BeYoga Studios for a relaxing yoga session on the beach! All experience levels are welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat or beach towel. Suggested donation of $5-10 per person. Admission into the lake is free when you mention the yoga event at the gate.
10am-1pm Traveling Honeybees – Watch for traveling program staff on the golf cart as they travel through the camp areas stopping at campsites with all pollinator information and an observation beehive from Carroll SWCD!
11am-12pm Fun with the Library – Visit the Activity Center Shelter with Carroll County District Library! Enjoy crafts, stories, and more!
12-1pm Wiffle Ball – Meet in the field near the Activity Center to play a friendly game of wiffle ball!
2-4pm Water Games at the Beach – Cool off with water game at the beach. Bring your friends!
2-3:30pm Ladies’ Night Craft & Desserts – Grab a friend and head out to Atwood Lake Park for a fun night of crafts! All materials and instructions will be provided, plus snacks! Must be 16 or older. Make a bee kind sign for your camper or home! Registration required at www.MWCD.org/tickets.
5-6pm All About Pollinators and Flower Craft for Kids – Learn about pollinators and make a flower craft at the Activity Center Shelter.
9-10pm Let’s Go Mothing with Bugman! – Meet at Picnic Shelter #1 to see what flying insects are attracted to our lights! You never know what we will catch. Just look for the giant white sheet. Bugman will be on hand to help identify and share amazing facts about our nighttime friends and pollinators.
Sunday, June 30
9-10am Non-denominational Church Service – Meet at the small amphitheater, weather permitting.
