Friday, August 9             

6-7:30pm            Traveling Program and Craft – Keep a look out for program staff as they travel through the campsites passing out event information and a fun craft kit.

7:30-8:30pm        Harry Potter Family BINGO – Come to the Messerly Recreation Center for BINGO Night. Prize theme is magical!

 

Saturday, August 10                                       

11:30am-12:30pm    Traveling Craft for Adults – Watch for the traveling gator and choose a craft kit, while supplies last.

2-4pm                Potter in the Park – Dress in your best wizard or witch costume and head to the lake for an afternoon of the enchanting wizarding world! Enjoy quidditch, potions, herbology, wand making, snacks, and learn about amazing magical creatures, including live owls and snakes! $10 per person, registration required at www.MWCD.org/tickets. For ages 4-16. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Messerly Recreation Center.

6:30-7:30pm        Dinner and Trivia – Don’t miss our magical dinner at the Messerly Recreation Center! Menu includes butter beer, Herbology greens, dragon scale, meatballs, Pork Lion, Albus Dumbledore cake and more! Suggested donation is $10 per adult, children under 10 are $4. 8-10pm               Movie – Hang out at the Messerly Recreation Center and watch the first movie in the Harry Potter series!

6-7:30pm            Ladies’ Night Craft & Desserts – Make a gorgeous flower arrangement at the Messerly Recreation Center. All supplies and instruction provided, plus enjoy delicious refreshments. For ages 13 and up. Registration required www.MWCD.org/tickets

 

Wednesday, August 14           

10am-12pm   Tots in the Park: Wild West – Bring your toddler to the lake and enjoy a wild west themed day with crafts, story time, activities, and snack! Meet at the Messerly Recreation Center. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required www.MWCD.org/tickets
