Tappan Program Schedule June 12-15

Wednesday, June 12         

10am           Nature Storytime – Meet at the patio behind the Activity Center for a nature story and activity.

11am-1pm     Wildlife Wednesday – Visit the Nature Center to see the wild animals that live at Tappan Lake. Learn why animals are wild and why we should help protect their wild ways!

Thursday, June 13             

6-8pm          Teen Club: Wii Games – Hang out at the Nature Center and play games on the Wii, plus enjoy a snack. Bring a friend!

Friday, June 14

6-8pm          Traveling Golf Cart – Meet our new program staff on the golf cart as they travel through the camp areas stopping at campsites with 2024 event information!

Saturday, June 15

9-10am         Breakfast with the Birds – Relax with coffee and breakfast treats in the Nature Center. Watch the birdfeeders and learn about Ohio’s birds.

10-11am       Kids Karate Class – Meet at the beach near the boat house to learn the basics of karate with Jon McFarland! For ages 4 and up, all kids under 8 must have an adult partner.

11am-12pm    Wildflower Hike – Meet at the Activity Center to take a walk through the campgrounds in search of blooming wildflowers! Children must be accompanied by an adult.

2-3pm          Wine Bottle Craft for Adults – Make a gorgeous summer decoration with a wine bottle, wildflowers, and fairy lights at the Nature Center. While supplies last.

4-5pm          Kids BINGO – Try your luck at BINGO at the Activity Center. Bring a candy bar.

5:30-6:30pm  Adult BINGO – Try your luck at BINGO at the Activity Center. Bring a $2 gift.

7-9pm          New Philadelphia Steel Drum Band – Bring your camp chair or blanket to the beach near the boathouse, and enjoy the music from this local favorite!
