Tropical Weekend at Tappan Lake Park

Friday, August 11
9:30-11am Coffee with the Chief – Stop by the Activity Center to meet our new Chief Ranger and enjoy coffee and donuts, while supplies last.
5-6pm Kids BINGO – Meet at the Activity Center and try your luck at BINGO. Bring a candy bar.
6-7pm Adult BINGO – Meet at the Activity Center and try your luck at BINGO. Bring a $2 gift.
7:30-8:30pm Karaoke – Meet at the shelter near the basketball courts to hangout and sing!
Saturday, August 12 Tropical Weekend
9-11am Traveling Program & Craft Kit – Watch for the golf cart traveling through the camp with craft kits!
12-1pm Pool Noodle Boat Craft for Kids – Meet at the Nature Center to make a pool noodle boat and then test how it floats in the stream!
2-3pm Ocean Craft for Adults – Make a beautiful ocean scene at the Nature Center!
4-5pm Friendship Bracelet Craft for Teens – Stop by the patio behind the Nature Center to make a friendship bracelet and hangout! Snacks provided.
Sunday, August 13
10am-11am Breakfast with the Birds – Visit the Nature Center and watch the birds at the birdfeeders! Enjoy breakfast treats, coffee, and learn about Ohio’s birds!
11:30-1pm Nature Center Open & Craft for Kids – Explore the Nature Center and make a heart craft!
1pm Tappan Recycling – Have your aluminum cans by lot post by 1pm! All recycling benefits programs.
