Saturday, August 12 Survival, Live Birds, and Live Music
9-11am Traveling Naturalist – Our Naturalist Team will be traveling around the campground with cool hands-on nature programs. Look for the Naturalist golf cart &stop by and see what’s there to explore.
11am LIVE Birds of Prey Show– Naturalists from the Ohio Bird Sanctuary will have a live Red-Tailed Hawk and Peregrine falcon birds presentation. See up close and learn about the important role Owls play in our environment. At Welcome Center.
1-3pm Survival Basics– Survival skills flint & steel fire building and Map and Compass. Meet at fire ring at Welcome Center
6-9pm LIVE Pop/Country Music Join us for live musical entertainment on stage at the swimming beach. Summer Concerts Series are open to the public and free with gate admission or camping. LIVE Band “Tom’s Kitchen Table Band”, performing Pop/Country Music. Sit back and relax and listen to the music.
Sunday, August 13 Meteor Shower Kayak Tour
9-11pm Meteor Shower Kayak – Enjoy a kayak tour of Pleasant Hill Lake by the light of the meteor shower! Everything is provided or bring your own. Must be 12+ years old. Only $25/ person, online Pre-registration is required at mwcd.ticketleap.com
Saturday, August 19 Wild West Fest, Animals & Hayrides
9a-11a- Naturalist On-Duty Nature Room OPEN. Come see & help feed the LIVE animals. Visit the fish mural, history exhibit, and bird observation window & view a short orientation during your visit. Check out the NEW Osprey Display area.
10a-1p -Gold Panning- Try your skill and luck at panning for some real gold. Meet on Welcome Center Deck
11p-1p- Family Crafts- Western-themed family crafts for everyone. Meet in Welcome Center
10a-1p – Hayrides- Tour through the park area on tractor-pulled haywagon ride Tickets are FREE at the welcome center
1p-4p – Petting Farm & Pony Rides. Live animals and pony rides for the kids. Horses, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens and more. Meet at the Parking lot area by Welcome Center
Thursday, August 24 Ladies Night Out
6-8pm Ladies’ Night Craft & Dessert – Grab a friend and head out to Pleasant Hill Lake Park for an evening of fun, crafts, and snacks. We will be painting a mason jar lid pumpkin for the fall décor to take home. All materials and instructions will be provided. Must be 16 or older. Pre-registration is required at mwcd.ticketleap.com

Saturday, August 26 First Responder Day!
9-10a Naturalist On-Duty – Come see & help feed the LIVE animals in the Nature Center. Visit the fish mural, history exhibit, bird observation window & view a short video orientation during your visit. Welcome Center.
11a-2p First Responders Day – Back by popular demand meet our local first responders and their really cool trucks. Rangers, Fire, EMS and sheriff officers are on hand to show and answer your questions. At Welcome Center.
Wednesday, August 30 Yoga at the Lake
9-10a- Yoga at the Lake- Feel renewed & ready for a weekend of outdoor activities. This basics-level class is appropriate for beginners and previous experience; Jumpstart your day with enjoyable yoga practice. Taught by Registered Yoga Instructor, Donations $10/person for a 1-hour session. To register by email at [email protected]
